We’ve lost one of our own.
Craig Jackson was an incredibly well-liked and well-respected member of the Australian adventure-riding community. He was also much valued as part of the Adventure Rider Magazine crew, and his yarns and willingness to be the focal point of his own humour made his stories highlights of any issue in which they appeared.
Craig was also a mainstay at Compass Expeditions, and he was as popular with the large and loyal customer base of that company as he was with just about every-one else he met everywhere he rode.

The sadness of Craig’s loss while riding hits extra hard for the Adventure Rider Magazine community because it’s the first time it’s happened since the magazine was launched in 2013. There have been other fatalities, but this is the first one within our close-knit group of writers and photographers.
