 ADVENTURE RIDER CONGREGATION UPDATE

The gathering which was to be held at Armidale Showground on 19th & 20th September has now been moved to Moredun Ponds near Tingha. It is a beautiful spot with excellent soft lawns for camping. There is a cost of $30 per person which covers camp fee, Saturday night dinner and Sunday breakfast.

For those who do not wish to camp, the nearest town with pub/motel accommodation is Guyra which is situated about 40 kms away, but be warned – there will be heaps of wildlife on the road at night.

There will be meeting points at Armidale and Glen Innes for organised scenic rides to the venue on the Saturday morning. There will be some more scenery orientated rides and some more adventurous, with the longer rides starting early in the morning and shorter rides departing later in the day. All rides will aim to arrive at Moredun Ponds at around 4.00 pm.

Those who wish to participate in the longer rides may wish to stay in Armidale on the Friday night.

It’s all happening

What will be the biggest adventure-riding event in Armidale’s history – probably – is fired up and things are happening.

To stay up-to-date with all the latest…um…updates, and spread the word, log on to Facebook. Like, share, and show you care!

Exhibitors are welcome to join. Just ask.

You must be a magazine client, and it’ll cost three cases of Armidale’s Finest Lager (whatever that is. Submit samples of different lagers for us to taste, and we’ll tell you which one you can send three cases of). It’s gotta be cold so we can all drink it without delay.

If you’re keen or want more details, punt an e-mail to Mitch at mitch@trademags.com.au.
John Hudson said he’ll be there and can help with routes, and he’ll give talks on GPS and bike setups.
