After a year or so of sticking close to home I found myself staring at a busy travel schedule for this issue, and it was a little difficult to cope with all the rules and regimentation associated with simply moving through cities. Airports demanded I wear a mask to enter, check in with a phone, use hand sanitiser, not touch any paper and stay away from other travellers. People wandered up and politely insisted I adjusted my mask if it’d slipped down a bit. I tried to get into a cab and the driver apologised and explained I wasn’t allowed to sit in the front. Having two people in the front could attract a $4000 fine. Hotels weren’t much different.
