Does the bike defne the discipline? Andy’s not so sure.

I think I’ve spent too much time inside my own helmet lately and allowed my few remaining neurons to wander into odd philosophical concepts.

Is there a difference between a motor-cycle taken on an adventure and an ‘adventure bike’? Can adventure bikes lose the title if used to commute? And vice versa; does a commuter bike taken to Birdsville necessarily then become an adventure bike?
