The Fly Line

Australia’s southern Fruit Fly Exclusion Zone (FFEZ) spans three states and marks a control line to protect produce-growing regions. Graeme Sedgwick found ‘The Fly Line’ an adventure route chock-a-block with peaceful localities, characters keen to tell a story, any number of curious pubs and countless under-the-stars camping opportunities.

‘The Fly Line’ is approximately 2585km: 675km through eastern South Australia and the Danggali Conservation Park, 815km through northern Victoria and 1095km slicing through New South Wales’ southern Riverland country and the Mundi Mundi Range west of Broken Hill.
