In a last-minute change the editor jumped from the KLR650 he’d built specifically for ADVX onto the new, long-term 800XCx. With only eight weeks or so to prepare the Triumph, it turned out to be not such a very tough jump after all.

We had a look at the 2015 800 Tiger XCx last issue, and while we were undeniably impressed, we were a little perplexed there wasn’t anywhere near enough room to tell you about the bike properly. Some of the changes to the new Tiger seem so small, but they make a very big difference.
