I asked my KTM obsessed partner, Glenn ‘Chidge’ Chidgey, how many couples usually entered the Australian KTM Adventure Rallye as a pillion team.
“None,” he replied. “Well, never in Australia anyway.”
I should have been surprised, but I wasn’t. That surprise had already occurred several years earlier on our initial ride together where I literally felt like I’d been reborn, such was the speed and exhilaration of the experience.
After that I was hooked.
