The website observes… ‘it looks like long-travel suspension has been added, with wired-wheels and Metzeler Karoo 3 tires fitted. The front wheel looks like it’s a 19-inch hoop, and there are countless carbon fibre bits to enjoy, including a fly screen, hand guards, and front fender. With 115hp and 418lbs (wet) in stock form, the Yamaha FZ-09 has the spec-sheet of a surprisingly good adventure-tourer.’
