A heartfelt biography titled Forget Me Not has been published in memory of the late Daley Mathison, a three-time Isle of Man TT podium finisher who left a significant mark on the road racing community. Known for his remarkable talent and charisma, Mathison was a beloved figure among racing fans, especially at Oliver’s Mount in Scarborough, the last remaining “real” road racing venue in England.
Tragically, Mathison’s promising career was cut short when he lost his life in a crash at the Isle of Man TT in 2019, at the tender age of 27. The book chronicles his life and racing journey, capturing the passion and dedication that drove him to pursue his dream of becoming a professional racer.
Forget Me Not is a limited edition, with only 500 copies available at £12 plus postage and packing. It includes heartfelt tributes from friends, family, team members, and fans who knew and admired Mathison. Not only is this biography a tribute to a talented rider, but it also supports a good cause, as 10% of the proceeds will benefit the Joey Dunlop Foundation on the Isle of Man. Any additional profits will be allocated to Mathison’s daughter, Daisy Blu.
This publication serves not only as a reminder of Mathison’s legacy but also as a way for fans to come together to support charitable efforts in his honor. For those who wish to celebrate his life and contribute to a meaningful cause, Forget Me Not is a poignant addition to the motorcycle racing community.
